Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of the Advanced Carson Concrete and Masonry website, starting from our home page, and the quotes and work we provide through it. By using the site, asking for a quote or booking work with us, you agree to them.

If you don't agree, please don't use the site. You're still welcome to call us at (424) 286-2220 to talk about a job.

What we do

We're a masonry contractor based in Carson, CA, and we also do concrete work. That includes foundation repair, brick and chimney repair, tuckpointing, retaining walls, block walls, pavers, walkways and outdoor kitchens in Carson and the cities around it. You can read more about our crew on our About page.

The pages on this site describe our work in general terms. The work we'll actually do on your property is set out in your written estimate or contract, and that document wins over anything on the site.

Estimates and pricing

Quotes are free, given on site and obligation-free, because we need to see the wall, chimney or slab before we can price it fairly. The price depends on the size of the job, access, materials, the condition of what's already there and any permit the work needs.

An estimate is based on what we can see. Masonry often hides problems, like a cracked footing or loose brick behind a sound face, so if we find something once the job is open that changes the work, we'll stop, show you and agree on a written change to the scope and price before we go on.

An estimate holds for the period written on it. After that, we may need to update it if material costs have changed.

Scheduling, weather and cancellation

We set a start date with you once you accept the estimate. Weather, material deliveries, inspections and earlier jobs running long can move that date, and we'll call you as soon as we know.

Mortar and concrete can be ruined by rain and some other conditions, so we won't work through weather that would hurt the result. If you need to cancel or reschedule, tell us as early as you can. Your contract spells out cancellation terms, deposit refunds and any right to cancel that California law gives you.

Payment

Your contract sets out the price, any deposit and when each payment is due. If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's settled.

If a job is cancelled partway through, you owe for the work already done and for materials we've bought for your job, as your contract sets out.

Our guarantee and what we don't promise

Every job comes with our satisfaction guarantee. If you're not happy with something we built or repaired, call us and we'll come back, look at it and make it right.

Any written warranty on your job is the one in your contract, along with any warranty the maker of a product gives. Apart from those, we don't make other promises about our work or this website, including how long a material will last or that the site will always be available and free of errors.

We can't stand behind damage caused by things outside our control, such as ground movement, earthquakes, tree roots, drainage we didn't work on, misuse or later repairs by someone else.

Limits on our liability

As far as the law allows, Advanced Carson Concrete and Masonry isn't liable for indirect losses that come from our work or this website, such as lost income or lost use of your property. Our total liability for a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.

We're licensed and fully insured. Nothing in these terms takes away a right that California law doesn't allow us to limit.

Information on this site

What you read here is general information, not advice for your specific property. Rules, permits and products change, so check with your city's permit office or with us before you rely on something you read here.

The words and photos on this site belong to us. Please don't copy them for business use without our permission.

Settling a disagreement

If you're unhappy about anything, call us first at (424) 286-2220, because most problems get sorted out quickly once we talk. If we can't settle it between us, either of us can take it to a court in Los Angeles County, California, or use any dispute process your contract names.

Which state's law applies

These terms, this website and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one that applies when you use the site. An update doesn't change a contract you've already signed with us.
